At Colchester Climbing Project, Essex’s only dedicated bouldering centre our team of experienced climbers and supportive coaches genuinely love helping people discover climbing. As Essex’s only dedicated bouldering centre, we are proud to provide a unique climbing environment packed with exciting features, including slabs, overhangs, arches, cave climbs, a 7m tunnel, top-out climbs and professional training areas.

Our School Holiday Classes are perfect for young climbers who are looking to try bouldering for the first time or continue building on their skills during the holidays. We offer separate sessions for children aged 7-11 and youth climbers aged 12-15.

Our Prices

Our day passes start from just £9, with a variety of flexible options available for adults, under-16s and eligible concession holders. Choose from single visits, no-expiry 10-entry cards, monthly memberships or unlimited passes ranging from one to twelve months. Climbing shoe and chalk bag hire are also available, making it easy to enjoy more than 150 exciting climbs at Essex’s only dedicated bouldering centre.
